Mingo Rajandi is a composer and a double bass player. She leads several ensembles and is the co-founder of Avarus, a creative agency organising concerts and artistic collaborations. In her music, Mingo likes to experiment with different styles and forms and she often bringing together musicians with different musical backgrounds.

In 2013, Mingo created Avarus Ensemble, a larger electro-acoustic group for which she has written more than 10 compositions which are rigorously scored yet leaving space for improvisation. Besides that, she composes for and plays in Avarus Trio, Verbarium, Tro Maag, and Alpine Shepherds.

Mingo has also done work for a film, dance and theatre performances.
