The Finnish Jazz Federation and the Estonian Jazz Association warmly thank the Finnish-Estonian Cultural Foundation for supporting our joint development project, which will run from 2026 to 2028. The project aims to establish a lasting framework for cooperation between the Finnish and Estonian jazz communities.
At its heart is the development of a sustainable touring network between the two countries. Alongside supporting the mobility of musicians and industry professionals, we will build a shared platform for music export to other international markets, strengthening the international visibility and shared identity of jazz from the Baltic Sea region.
The growing partnership between Finland and Estonia also lays a strong foundation for closer collaboration among jazz communities across the Baltic Sea region, opening up new opportunities both regionally and internationally.
The project will also highlight the environmental health of the Baltic Sea and explore how we can work together to help preserve and protect it.
We look forward to sharing more details soon. An open call for the first concert tour will be announced in late 2026.
