In September, the 14th concert season of Jazz Estonia will begin!
At the opening concert of the season, which takes at the NO99 Jazz Club on 8 September, The Swingin’ Sisters & Band takes the stage and Tallinn Swing Dance Society dancers set the mood in front of it – a great swing party is expected! The new season will begin in all other Jazz Clubs as well.
In September, the Jazz Estonia is organising five concerts in Tallinn:
- On 15 September, the concert to celebrate the centenary of Thelonious Monk – one of the grandees of jazz history, a pianist and a composer – will take place at the NO99 Jazz Club. As a tribute, music is played by the best Estonian and Finnish jazz musicians.
- On 22 September, Kolm Kõla performs at the NO99 Jazz Club. They use a rare combination of the Estonian zither, a double-bass and a vocal, also different music styles.
- On 23 September, Kadi Vija & Lucas Dann are at the Philly Joe’s Jazz Club presenting their debut album Ugly Beauty which is a tribute to the jazz grandee Thelonious Monk.
- On 29 September, Maria Faust & Dag Magnus Narvesen are performing at the NO99 Jazz Club – both performers are first known by their large ensembles but this time the audience will receive simplicity, spontaneity, and the magic of acoustic sounds.
The tickets to the Tallinn concerts are available on GateMe.
