EESTI JAZZLIIT

Vladimir Todurov

Vladimir (Vova) Todurov is a jazz pianist of the younger generation in Estonia, who has obtained a bachelor’s degree in music pedagogy from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. There, his interest in jazz music and creating his own compositions grew. One of his great inspirations has been reharmonization. When Vova first heard how a regular three-major song could be reharmonized, he was immediately captivated by it. This is what has been a great impetus for him. Vova is part of several bands and also often performs as a piano accompanist for soloists, ensembles and choirs. It is worth mentioning the Tuesday Philly Joe’s and Wednesday Terminal Records&Bar jam nights, where he can often be found behind the keyboards. In addition to all this, Vova has been a resident of the Philly Joe’s jazz club 2025 summer residency, the aim of which is to highlight outstanding musicians. Vova is currently studying at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with Kristjan Randalu.
